Marian C Sava , born in 1950 in Galati , Romania , is a Belgian sculptor . He works in particular black Belgian marble, white marble, small granite , bronze and wood .

From an early age, Marian C Sava is drawn to drawing and painting, but is fascinated by sculpture.

He obtained the Baccalaureate in Galati and then worked in the Romanian merchant marine which gave him the opportunity to know various civilizations and cultures by his travels on all continents. He settled in Belgium in 1985.

He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels , sculpture section from 1990 to 1995 where he graduated. His teacher is Jean-Marie Mathot , Belgian sculptor and painter.

After graduation, Marian C Sava begins a period of personal research concerning her creation. He works the earth, the plaster, the resins, the bronze, the blue stone and the marble. He patiently tests various materials. By touching and working marble, he is captivated by this material. His great surprise was the discovery of Belgian black marble , the "marble of the devil" after those who work and arrive at his polishing.
