JORDI SARDÀ (Barcelona, 1953). "Fins al final", 1998. Oil on canvas. Signed in the lower right corner. Signed and dated on the back. With Sala Parés label on the back.

    Est: €1,200 - €1,500

JORDI SARDÀ (Barcelona, 1953). "Fins al final", 1998. Oil on canvas. Signed in the lower right corner. Signed and dated on the back. With Sala Parés label on the back. Size: 45 x 37 cm; 53 x 45 cm (frame). Jordi Sardà initially trained in Barcelona, at the Academia de Bellas Artes de sant Lluc, and at the Círculo de Bellas Artes. He later completed his studies in Madrid, at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios. His work with his painters and friends Rafael Duran and Xavier Blanch had a strong influence on his style, which draws on the Catalan pictorial tradition. Throughout his career he has worked on portraits, landscapes and still lifes, from a realistic point of view, tinged by the spirit and contributions of Noucentisme, although with a very personal and recognisable style. Jordi Sardà is a lover of the history of painting and especially of the Catalan Masters. Jordi Sardà worked with painters and friends Rafel Duran and Xavier Blanch. This respect is a source of inspiration and is present in the different themes he tackles, as he knows how to transfer to his work the memory of tradition and at the same time the rigour of the canons of the most modern painting. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, especially in the Sala Parés in Barcelona, where in 1980 he won the Young Painting Prize, but also in other Spanish cities and internationally, such as the Cindyn Gallery in New York.
