The inspection under UV light reveals thin craquelure in the impasto paint. The stretcher measures 59.5 x 59.5 cm and the dimensions of the frame are 93 x 93 cm. Koeboe Sarawan (b. 1961) The Sarawan family is a family of artists from Batu. Koeboe Sarawan graduated in art from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta. Koeboe Sarawan ranks amongst the most prominent representatives of contemporary Indonesian painters. His works are close to realism and he is inspired by the mountains of South East Asia. He designed stamps for Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei, Myanmar and Indonesia. (tm) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
