        Crane (Walter) Of the Decorative Illustration of Books Old and New, first edition, William Russell Flint's prize copy, plates and illustrations, occasional foxing, handsomely bound in blue morocco, gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe for Flint, t.e.g., 8vo, London & New York, 1896. ⁂ Pencil inscription in William Russell Flint's hand on front pastedown reads: "Board of Education South Kensington. National Book Prize awarded to William Russell Flint of Edinburgh Royal Institution School of Art for success in subject 9A at the National Art Competition 1900 - What was subject 9A? Anatomy: Bones (Rebound 1969)". The present binding with the distinctive key motif was commissioned by Flint and matches other books offered from his library.
