Valsuani / Cire Perdue on the side of the base, 10 x 7 x 3 inches, marked CAT 56 in an unknown hand on the underside. MHR refers to Mary Harriman Rumsey, the artist's wife. A joyous, dynamic figure, predating the Jazz Age by over a decade.
