Gunter Rossler Sold at Auction Prices

Günter Rössler began his artistic education in 1946 as a photo lab technician. From 1947 until 1951 he studied photography at the Academy in Leipzig. He works as a fashion photographer nationally and internationally since 1951. Rössler is one of the founders of action photography. Since, 1972, the artist increasingly concentrated on nude photography. In 1979, he initiated the first nude plein-air of the GDR in Höfgen. In 1981, he became a member of the Verband Bildender Künstler der DDR. He is a co-founder of the model agency VOILÀ!. In 1996, he was named a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie Cologne and the Bund Bildender Künstler Leipzig. Until his death in 2012 he lived for over 50 years near Leipzig.

Condition: The work is in good condition, showing minor crease marks within the depiction and tiny blemishes to the lower margin.
