Josep Maria Rosselló i Virgili ( Tarragona , 1950 ) is an artist, painter, cartoonist and designer who has worked in various fields of art, such as music and literature. One of its distinguishing features is the large-format live paintings with various musical formations.

He studied at the Tarragona Provincial Art School, under the teaching of the painter Magda Folch , and later moved to Tortosa to work with the painter Guillem Bergnes . He also studied at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts , in Barcelona, ??and did engraving workshops with Maria Josefa Colom at the Massana School , in Barcelona. His first works are of expressionist-expressionist influence, figurations that are a result of his work of the natural. He made his first exhibition in 1967, in the Sala de la Sindicat Initiativa y Turisme de Tarragona, and moved his residence to Sitges and later to Barcelona, ??Madrid, Seville and later to Tangier. Finally, in 1992 he returned to Catalonia.

In 2003, the City Council of Tarragona awarded him the title of Distinguished Services, for his informative work in the city, after several traveling exhibitions in Catalonia.
