Porzellanteller, mit verschiedenen Materialien (Muscheln, Karton, Offsetdrucke, weißer Lack) gestaltet, über Öl auf Leinwand auf Hartfaser. 1993. Jeweils betitelt sowie verso signiert u. datiert. Die Porzellanteller verso ebenfalls signiert u. datiert. Die in Wien lebenden Konzeptkünstler Markus Muntean und Adi Rosenblum verbinden in ihren figurativen, überwiegend malerischen Arbeiten kunsthistorische Bildkompositionen mit popkulturellen Motiven. Letztere basieren oftmals auf fotografischen Vorlagen aus den heutigen Medien. Häufig erweitern eingearbeitete Texte oder Schriftstücke die inhaltliche Aussage der Bilder, in denen zeitaktuelle Themen behandelt werden. So setzt sich vorliegendes Frühwerk mit der medialen Bilderflut sowie dem sich vermehrt im digitalen Raum abspielenden Sozialleben auseinander. - Zwei der Leinwände mit vereinzelten, kleinen Läsuren. In 2008, the Essl Foundation in Vienna held a solo show for the Muntean and Rosenblum, as well as the Museo de Arte áneo de Castilla y León, Spain; the 2001 Berlin Biennale in London; and the 2004 São Paulo Biennale, among others.
