A stuffed calf has caught my attention, in particular. The depiction of this exhibit was later used in my works, as a simple object, similarly to a trinket, made from ceramic paste. Its features are just vaguely suggested. The human figures keep their anonimity and they end up looking as stuffed animals, keeping their appearence and shape, but being motionless they end up just as simple objects. All the elements in the composition are being treated as static, but through a mirroring effect they give access to another side of theirs. The mirror creates access to the interiority of a character, pointing out its duality, so clearley suggested at both ends of the presently reflected animal.” (Anda Roman)
