    MARIO PEZILLA (DATES UNKNOWN) MONTE-CARLO. Circa 1900. 41 1/2x30 inches. F. Robaudy, Cannes. Condition B+: repaired tears, creases, minor losses and overpainting in margins, some affecting image. Constructed in 1863, the Grand Casino of Monte Carlo was designed by Charles Garnier, the same architect who designed the Paris Opera. The opulent building features bas-reliefs, frescoes, sculptures and caryatids. This sumptuous image exudes the elegance of the resort town. Riviera 95.
