Yakov Riumkin (1913–1986) is a Soviet photographer best known for his images of the Battle of Stalingrad. With the beginning of World War II he became a war correspondent for the daily Pravda; he participated in and recorded the liberation of Ukraine, Hungary, Romania. He also photographed military operations in Berlin. After the war he worked for the newspapers Pravda, Sovetskaya Rossiya and the magazine Ogoniok.
