          DARLEY, Felix Octavius Carr (1822-1888) - RITCHIE, Alexander Hay (1822-1895). On the March to the Sea. Hartford: L. Stebbins, 1868. A lushly hand-colored engraving by Ritchie after the drawing by Darley, with a small vignette portrait of Sherman in the title margin. This is one of the best-known Civil War prints, widely reproduced in books and magazines, usually to illustrate the harshness of Sherman?s march through Georgia.
