      Online_Modern and Contemporary Art Rheinsberg, Raffael Gedanken zu meinem Projekt. Anhalter Bahnhof 'Ruine oder Tempel'. 1980. 4-teilige Collage mit überarbeiteten Postkarten. Auf 4 einzelnen Bögen von leichtem Velinkarton. Blattmaße je 59,5 x 42 cm. Je signiert, datiert und ortsbezeichnet "Berlin". 1 Arbeit zusätzlich betitelt. - Kanten teils etwas bestoßen, vereinzelt leichte Anschmutzungen. Verso Spuren der ehemaligen Montierung und vereinzeltem Papierabrieb. Insgesamt gut. Der Installations- und Objektkünstler setzte sich in der vorliegenden Arbeit mit der städtebaulichen Situation des Anhalter Bahnhofs in Berlin auseinander. Der historisch bedeutsame Platz wurde während des Zweiten Weltkrieges stark beschädigt und der Bahnhof in den 1950er Jahren abgerissen und später durch einen unterirdischen Neubau ersetzt. Der Platz hat neben seiner Funktion als Bahnhof eine große Bedeutung innerhalb der Kiezstruktur Berlins, treffen hier der Tiergarten, Schöneberg und Kreuzberg aufeinander. 4-part collage with reworked postcards. On 4 single sheets of lightweight wove board. Sheet dimensions each 59.5 x 42 cm. Each signed, dated and place-named 'Berlin'. 1 work additionally titled. - Edges partly a little bit bumped, sporadically a little bit soiled. On the verso traces of the former mounting and some slight paper abrasion. All in all good.

      Rheinsberg, Raffael (Kiel 1943 - 2016 Forst/Hunsrück). Seestück. Prägedruck von 1989. Signiert, datiert, bezeichnet u. nummeriert '40/80'. 54 x 75 cm. Der Installations- und Objektkünstler Rheinsberg studierte an der Kieler Muthesius-Schule, war Mitglied des Deutschen Künstlerbundes und erhielt zahlreiche Kunst- und Kulturpreise. Seine Werke gestaltete er in erster Linie mit ausrangierten und entsorgten Gegenständen aus der Arbeitswelt.- Durch ein Sägeblatt geprägte, sich wiederholende Wellenformation.

In the 1980s he has been awarded with the German Critics Prize, the Berlin Art Prize of the Academy of Arts or the Cultural Prize of the city of Kiel, among others. His works are nowadays to be found in the Museum Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin as well as the Kunsthalle Kiel and others. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
