Hunter Reynolds Art for Sale at Auction

b. 1959 -

Hunter Reynolds studied at the Otis-Parsons Art Institute in Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1984. Engaged as a visual artist and AIDS activist, he became a co-founder of Art Positive in 1989 and fought against homophobia and censorship in the arts. For over twenty years, he has been dealing with political, social and gender themes which he constantly reflects as a HIV-positive man living in the age of AIDS. His photographs, installations and performances are well-established in the art world and have repeatedly been presented in solo exhibitions, e.g. at White Columns in New York.
