      Isadore Ressler, attr., Landschaftsidyll lichte Sommerlandschaft mit großen knorrigen Olivenbäumen am Wegesrand vorm Dorf mit Bauernjungen und im Schatten der Bäume rastender Frau, zwischen den Bäumen hindurch Blick auf ein im Tal liegendes Dorf, hierzu bemerkt ein Artikel des "DETROIT JEWISH CHRONICLE" vom 04.07.1941: "... Nur sehr wenige Kunstausstellungen, die in den letzten 25 Jahren in Detroit gezeigt wurden, kamen ohne die Werke des bescheidenen, freundlichen und netten Isadore Ressler aus. Herr Ressler, der seit mehr als einem halben Jahrhundert als Künstler tätig ist, ist kleinwüchsig, tritt aber immer dann groß hervor, wenn seine Werke das Genie des Mannes offenbaren. ... Seine Landschaftsstudien sind beeindruckend ... In all seinen Werken findet man seine Reaktionen auf die Schönheiten der Natur. ...", teils pastose Malerei in freundlicher Farbigkeit, Öl auf Leinwand, unten links nicht eindeutig signiert und datiert "...Ressler 1909", Craquelure, sehr kleine Retuschen, in ca. 11 cm breiter, mit stilisierten Blättern verzierter goldbronzierter Stuckleiste gerahmt (geringe Verluste), Falzmaße ca. 61 x 86,5 cm.
