Jurgen Reipka Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Reipka studied from 1960 to 1963 at the School of Arts Bremen at Johannes Schreiter and 1963-1968 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Josef Obernberger . Here he was Professor from 1973 and from 1976 to 1979 its president. In addition Reipka was a member of the German Association of Artists , the " New Group "Munich and the Presidium of the Exhibition Management Haus der Kunst in Munich.

Starting in 1964, over 400 group exhibitions and solo exhibitions were held; Working Reipkas are in several collections, including the Bavarian State Painting Collection , the National Collection in Stuttgart and the National Graphic Arts Collection, Munich .

For the subway station Münchner Freiheit , he designed a 24-meter-long frieze, which extends along the southern side of the wall above the tunnel entrances.

Reipka lived and worked in Munich and in parish churches, where he died on New Year's Eve passed away after a long illness in 2013
