Reinicke worked as an illustrator in Munich, among others as an employee of the Fliegende Blätter (“flying leafs”), a humoristical and satirical magazine, and the Münchner Bilderbogen, a series of popular prints. He illustrated among others for the books Lustiges aus der Tierwelt (1900) and Für Kinder die gerne lachen (1910), both publiched by Braun & Schneider. He studied at the Dresden academy (1876-1880) and in Munich (1880-1882).
