    Janet Kellogg Hodges Reid 1894-1988. Oil on Board - 24" x 33". Signed lower right "Janet Reid".-------------This auction includes items from the Estate of Weston Breed Warren (1922-2013) of Brookfield, NH. After attending Syracuse University, Wes traveled extensively, studied at the Academie Julian in Paris and at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, and joined artists’ groups in both New Hampshire and Florida. Throughout his life, Wes summered at his family house on Kingswood Lake in Brookfield and wintered in Sarasota. Wes was an avid collector, and this sale includes works by his instructors and fellow students at the Ringling School and by his many artist friends.Janet Reid had memberships- included Allied Artists of America, the American Artists Professional League, and the Art League of Manatee County. Her work was exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Institute, the New York Water Color Club, and the American Water Color Society.
