Artist Terry Redlin grew up in South Dakota. After losing a leg in a motorcycle accident in his teens, he received a scholarship from the state to attend art college. He moved to Minnesota in 1956, and Terry Redlin's prints of that time included commercial art and illustrations done at Browne & Bigelow. By 1979, he had quit his work with commercial art to pursue painting landscapes and wildlife.Terry Redlin's paintings of Americana wildlife, flora, and sunsets, done in rich earth tones, grew his reputation. Each of Terry Redlin's paintings for sale was the result of much research and in-field observation.
