Each housed under glass in a modern frame, retaining possibly original Boston, MA gallery label. First quarter 20th century. Each 10 1/4" x 5 1/2" sight, 17" x 12" OA.

Both works signed and dated 1915 lower left. Elmer Joseph Read was born in Howard, New York in 1862.
