      Est: €4,000 - €5,000

ARMANDO RABADÁN (Seville, 1986). "Black gate steam". 2019. Acrylic on canvas. Signed, titled and dated on the back. Measurements: 196 x 196 cm. The work of the Sevillian artist, Armando Rabadán, works the construction and de-construction of a creative process, where disordering the pieces, will be a fundamental process to reach the realization of a new landscape vision supported by the sensitive experience that welcomes each human being individually. His works are the perfect combination of geometry and color, two factors that make possible the three-dimensional appearance as presented in "Little blue". However, we could think that his works camouflaged in fragmented landscapes, are the consequence of a study about chaos and order. The "Micro-chrome" series, to which this painting belongs, gives us the possibility to look closely at each small plot, where we can discover the essence of color in the form of a minimalist landscape. These creations of realistic appearance, have an important abstract background as well as reflective, because the agglomeration of squares arranged in a predetermined manner, could reflect the disorganized memories of the viewer to whom the work is presented. Rabadán's career as an artist began with his studies of Fine Arts at the universities of Seville and Mimar Sinan in Istanbul, where he developed part of his work during a period of four years. His evolution as an artist has led him to exhibit in contemporary art fairs such as Context Art Miami, Bazaar Art Jakarta, Contemporary Istanbul or Art Taipei. Evolution that has allowed him to obtain an Honorable Mention in the Aires de Córdoba Competition (2012) or the Ibercaja Prize for Young Painting in Zaragoza (2015), as well as the First Prize in the XIV Young Art Competition in Seville.
