Recent group shows include Éigse Carlow Arts Festival; Gallery Friends, Lavit Gallery, Cork (2013); Proper Nouns and Adjectives, Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast; Marathon Irish, Dialogue, London; Engine Room Gallery, Belfast (2012). He received the Tony O’Malley Studio Residency Award 2015 and is currently preparing for his 6th solo exhibition with Taylor Galleries. Public collections include Bank of Ireland, Electric Ireland, OPW / State Art Collection, Eaton Corporation and the Morrison Hotel, Dublin.

Among the publications to feature Quinn's illustrations are the Helm Identification Guides and the National Geographic Guide to New World Warblers.

    David Quinn lithograph "Dolphin I"; signed "Quinn" to bottom right, numbered "39/250" to bottom middle, and titled to bottom left; measures approximately 28-3/8" x 35-5/8' with frame and has a sight image of approximately 18-7/8" x 26-1/4"; in Good condition. David Quinn is an Irish artist and designer who was born in County Galway in 1970 and grew up in Sligo. He studied art at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and painted there for a number of years after graduating before finally settling in County Mayo where he currently lives and works. He is best known for his atmospheric, figurative, paintings which draw on the Mayo countryside and its vernacular architecture and gardens. The painting entitled "Grotto" is an example of his work. His paintings are represented in Irish and international collections including The Irish Museum of Modern Art, The European Parliament, AIB and the Office of Public Works.
