C. B. Quincy (American (Ohio), 20th century). "In The Harbor" - 1917, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left. Painting depicting a row of sailboats at dock with roping leading from their bows and secured outside the composition at right, the boats casting shadows on the water in foreground, with many masts standing upright leading into the background with impressions of other structures and boats along the horizon line. Verso of stretcher with period label from The Artists Guild and stamped "Shaw Woodworking Brooklyn, NY". Framed approximately 18.5" x 21.5", unframed approximately 12" x 15.125".
