        Hubertus Quellinus (Flemish, 1619 -1687) after a c. 1665 drawing by Erasmus Quellinus (Flemish, 1607-1678), portrait of Philip IV of Spain seated on a throne, backed by his coat of arms, his son, the future Charles II, at his knee, beneath a canopy over which two angels hold a cartouche inscribed "Vota Publica" and with further inscriptions, to left a female figure with a winged putto nearby, offering a sacrifice on an altar encircled by a serpent, with emblematic figures and a lion, on laid paper laid down on modern paper backing, loose and unframed, 20.75"h x 13.75"w (sheet)
