And a pair of watercolours; one depicting estuary with building & boats at low tide signed EJW Prior, the other depicting a river side cottage at dusk, 5'' x 6½'' (14 cm x 16.5 cm).

    Railway Water Colour by Ebenezer John Woods Prior 1914 to 1988 mounted in a frame measuring 24" x 20" approximately. This water colour shows an industrial scene in steam days. Label to the front of the water colour gives details of the artist known for his paintings of the Yorkshire Dales and also steam engines. A self-taught artist with little help from Ernest William Hazelhurst who worked in the family wool firm and exhibited at the RBA. On the reverse is stated Steam Trains on Mainline leaving and returning to Yorkshire Mill Town of Keighley. Goods train in the siding, mill to the left and town over the bridge beyond. Overall appearance is generally Near Mint in an Excellent frame.
