PRELL’ lower right Dimensions: 46.5 x 66 cm Good condition Object is regular taxed. 19% VAT is added to the purchase price for deliveries within the EU. Condition: The painting is in good condition, according to age, showing minor framing marks and pressure marks from the stretcher. There is a patch on the reverse. The inspection under UV light reveals strokes of retouching to the margins, as well as to the sky. The dimensions are 46.5 x 66 cm. Walter Prell (1857-1936) Walter Prell was born in 1857 in Leipzig. He was a student at the Düsseldorf and Paris academies and of Jean-Paul Laurens and Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant at the Académie Julian. He then worked as a landscape painter in Paris and Munich. His brother Hermann Prell (1854-1922) was also a painter and sculptor, as well as professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden.
