19th Century John Pratt Painting

A beautifully framed circa 1877 oil on canvas painting entitled "Caught in the Act" by a listed artist (United Kingdom, 19th Century) depicting a pair of young boys attempting to smoke a pipe with mother peeking from the doorway. Signed and dated lower left, plaque present on the frame with title and artist name. Image measures approximately 11.5" x 13.5" and gilt frame 18.5" x 20.5" x 2.75". Total weight 4.5 lbs. Some apologies to gilt frame.
