    Michal Pociecha, Ländliche Szene Bäuerin mit ihrem Weidenkorb vor teils von Buschwerk verdeckten Gebäuden, ins Licht des zur Neige gehenden Tages getauchte Landschaftsdarstellung, Aquarell auf leichtem Karton, um 1890, links unten signiert "M. Pochiecha", gering gebräunt und minimal braunfleckig, hinter Glas gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 28,5 x 45,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: polnischer Maler, Illustrator und Lehrer (1852 Prokocim bei Krakau bis 1908 Krakau), 1869–75 Studium an der Schule für Malen und Zeichnen in Krakau, ab 1875 Studium an der Akademie der Künste in München, unter anderem bei Ludwig von Löfftz, nach dem Studium Rückkehr nach Krakau und Tätigkeit als Lehrer, vorwiegend Beschäftigung mit der Aquarellmalerei, zahlreiche seiner Werke wurden in Zeitschriften publiziert und als Postkarten herausgegeben, Quelle: Porta Polonica und Matrikel der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München. Michal Pociecha, Ländliche Szene Bäuerin mit ihrem Weidenkorb vor teils von Buschwerk verdeckten Gebäuden, ins Licht des zur Neigehenden Tages bathed landscape depiction, watercolour on light cardboard, c. 1890, signed "M. Pochiecha" lower left, slightly browned and minimally brownstained, framed behind glass, folded dimensions c. 28.5 x 45.5 cm. Artist information: Polish painter, illustrator and teacher (1852 Prokocim near Krakow to 1908 Krakow), 1869-75 studied at the School of Painting and Drawing in Krakow, from 1875 studied at the Academy of Arts in Munich, among others under Ludwig von Löfftz, after his studies he returned to Krakow and worked as a teacher, mainly occupied with watercolour painting, numerous of his works were published in magazines and issued as postcards, source: Porta Polonica and register of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
