width 18 in; height 21.5 in. Original graphite on paper. Pinardi's work reflects the heritage of early twentieth-century surrealism all the while showcasing a minimalist approach, trompe l’oeil style, and creative skills. Throughout his prolific career, Pinardi produced paintings and sculptures that dealt with both the dream world and the viewer’s consciousness. Like the best metaphysical art, many of Pinardi's spaces may be uncomfortable to enter but are always entrancing, thought-provoking, and sincere.
