Christopher Pillitz was born in Buenos Aires and moved to London in 1978, where he completed a Hotel Management Degree at the Clarige's and Ritz Hotels. Since 1983, Pillitz is active in the field of photography, his great personal passion. He became a documentary photographer and traveled on behalf of editorial and commercial clients such as Sunday Times, STERN, The Observer and the TIME. Since 1990, Pillitz regularly works for the GEO Magazine. Three of his most beautiful travel and architecture photo books were created during his trips through China and India, between 2006 and 2008. His photographic output has been repeatedly awarded and presented in publications and international exhibitions.
