    Two vintage figural prints framed under glass. Interior scene with a lady by the fire was The New Yorker cover March 14, 1942. Interior scene depicting a maid polishing silver was The New Yorker cover November 10, 1945. Both are signed in print on the lower left side. Petty was well known for being an illustrator of books, magazines and for a series of covers done for The New Yorker featuring her invented Peabody family. Height: 20", Width: 14 3/4" & 15 1/2".
