Pencil Signed Leon Pescheret Original Color Etching titled "South East of Death Valley". Leon R. Pescheret (1892 - 1971) British born but resided in Wisconsin, studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as at The Royal College of Engraving in England. He is listed in most major art biographical reference books and referenced by Smithsonian Institute. Pescheret masterfully etched a wide variety of subjects in Wisconsin, Chicago, the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, the American Southwest, Europe, etc. Measurements: Image is 14" X 11 inches Frame size is 23" X 19 inches. This etching is in excellent condition, frame has fabric loss and curling.
