Allom. | G. Paterson". Lower middle inscribed in the printing plate: "Loves early dream". Date: c. 1855 Description: Interior scene with a seated man on the left sheeting through a drawing book, on a table next to him a statue of a female nude, over his shoulder is a young artist with crayon in hand, handing his teacher more drawings, but distracted by the young woman practising her harp in the background, behind her a conservatory through arches.
