    #35 1965 signed lower right. Image 4.5 x 6.5 inches in frame.This auction includes items from the Estate of Weston Breed Warren (1922-2013) of Brookfield, NH. After attending Syracuse University, Wes traveled extensively, studied at the Academie Julian in Paris and at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, and joined artists’ groups in both New Hampshire and Florida. Throughout his life, Wes summered at his family house on Kingswood Lake in Brookfield and wintered in Sarasota. Wes was an avid collector, and this sale includes works by his instructors and fellow students at the Ringling School and by his many artist friends.Parton attended Ringling Sch. Art (fine art cert.); sculpture with Lesley Posey; painting with Jay Connaway. Exhibited: Southern Vermont AC, 1963 (solo); Westport (CT) Womens Club, 1965 (solo); Tampa Prof. Artist, 1968 (solo); Sarasota AA, 1969 (solo); Longboat AC, 1972 (solo); Ralph Wells, Bradenton, FL, 1970s.
