XAVIER SOLER LLORCA (Alicante, 1923-1995) "Dining room". Gouache on paper. Signed on the reverse.

    Est: €2,000 - €2,200

XAVIER SOLER LLORCA (Alicante, 1923-1995) "The dining room". Gouache on paper. Signed on the back. Size: 52 x 76 cm; 67,5 x 90 cm (frame). He begins his studies at an early age, being Adelardo Parrilla Candela (1877-1953) his teacher. He moved to Granada to begin his studies in pharmacy, where he began to develop a lyrical language, with great chromatism and gestures. He stood out within the landscape theme, and was inspired by his various trips, which inevitably appear in many of his works. These works will undergo an evolution where clean and spacious landscapes are highlighted, elaborated with almost pure pigments, being the fruit of his passion for beauty, nature and life, accompanied by a spontaneous and subjective expression. During his career he received several prizes and awards such as the First Provincial Prize in the II National and Provincial Painting Competition and the Gold Medal in the III National Painting Competition of Alicante, as well as the Grand National Prize José Antonio Primo de Rivera.
