    gouache, signed 'NEAVE PARKER' upper right, 42.5 x 70.5cm, Neave Parker was a regular contributor to the 'Illustrated London News' from 1950 onwards. He also produced many drawings reconstructing dinosaurs and the National History Museum, London, commissioned him to do a series of picture postcards on this theme. The museum retains the 19 original drawings which Parker drew for this series. Parker also illustrated numerous children's books. His drawings are held in the Ulster Museum and he was the subject of an exhibition there entitled, ' The Prehistoric World of Neave Parker' in 1993.
