    § Olley, Ron (1923-2017) Four ring bound albums of original hand drawn studies Olley (Owen Ronald, 'Ron', 1923-2017). Four ring bound albums of original hand drawn studies together containing approx. 260 pages of drawings in various mediums, mainly coloured chalks, also watercolour, gouache, pencil, pen & ink, studies taken from life of male and female nudes, natural history and sporting subjects to include many from boxing and racing, several pages with Olley’s studio stamp, and a few signed by the artist, original boards, 25 x 25cm (10 x 10ins) and 30.5 x 21cm (12 x 8.25ins), [2004, 05-06, 07 & 07-08] *** Olley was one of the last artist to be able to paint and draw from personal experience of WWII depicting the battlegrounds and war-torn landscapes of Egypt and Italy. He has been shown at the RA and Royal Society of British Artists and his work is well considered.
