    BEECHER OGDEN (1873-1963) A trio of binders containing approximately 300 photographs by the New York City street photographer depicting the city and its environs. With numerous documentary views of architecture, including stoops, store fronts, tenements, wrought iron fixings, and building façades, as well as scenes of children playing in the streets, workers, strollers, and images of the city skyline. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), and the reverse, each with Ogden's hand stamp, and nearly all with notations, in ink, identifying the date, street, and many identifying the pictured stores and businesses, on verso. 1951-54

    OGDEN, BEECHER (1873-1963) A group of approximately 90 photographs by Ogden documenting New York City, including streets, inhabitants, and buildings, as well as shots of graffitied walls, children playing, push cart vendors, the elevated train, pedestrians, and store fronts; a couple apparently depicting Ogden himself and his camera. Silver prints, each approximately 9 1/4x7 1/4 inches (23.5x18.4 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, about 40 with Ogden's hand stamp and a combination of a caption or a date, in ink or in pencil, on verso; about 15 with Ogden's typed credit, caption, and date (sometimes including handwritten notations); and nearly 15 with notations also either in ink or in pencil; also includes several duplicate images. 1950s
