Thomas Frank (Tom) Offord (1929-.) Australia

Born in South Australia in 1929, Thomas Offord studied at the South Australian School of Arts and Crafts. He became art master at a Broken Hill school, and much of his work reflects his involvement with the Broken Hill area. Offord is a traditional landscape painter whose work tends to show the influence of Sir Hans Heysen. He has held numerous successful one-man exhibitions in the eastern states and his works are represented in several major private collections.
