Webb, 4, Crampton Quay, Dublin (label, verso). Born in Durra House, County Clare, Catherine Amelia O'Brien, known to friends as Kitty, was a stained glass artist. She studied under William Orpen (1878-1931) and Alfred Ernest Child (1875-1939) at the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art and later became a member, manager, and director of An Túr Gloine, a cooperative studio for stained glass artists, founded by Sarah Purser (1848-1943).
