Paul W. Niemiec, Jr. Art for Sale and Sold Prices

b. 1948 -

Niemiec grew up in central New York, and spent much of his childhood out-of-doors fly fishing, hunting and exploring. This interest is reflected in his work as an artist. Niemiec states: "I like nothing more, than spending all day outside painting, whether in the midst of a vast, alive marsh, or on a stretch of trout or salmon river, studying the subtle composition of water, grass and sky. I paint and draw to express my personal experience and memories about themes familiar to me." Still living in New York, Niemiec spends his summers of Monhegan Island, part of the artist community that lives and thrives there still.
