Plantin 1584 8vo: 62-[8-2 bl.] pp. 19th-c. richly gilt dark blue morocco by Birdsall & Son Northampton (active 1792-1961), covers with frames of triple gilt rules with gilt central ornament and corner pieces, gilt-titled spine with 2 raised bands, gilt sides, gilt inside dentelles, a.e.g., marbled endpapers. Very nice copy. 2nd ed. (1st 1566) of a sm. treatise on the history of the Gallic tribes in the Low Countries by the Leuven historian Divaeus (1535-1581). Woodcut mark on title.
