She grew up in the picturesque Hudson River Valley, full of historical memories of once great times, and as an artist, she became known for her Hudson River landscapes and marine scenes. Her favorite subjects are of the past glorious time of the steam age, where majestic steam and sailing ships were simultanously ruling the waves of rivers, lakes and seas.
