      Edward Mossforth Neatby R.M.S., A.R.C.A.(Lond) (1888-1949) "Kettlewell Bridge, Yorkshire" Signed and dated (19)43, inscribed on the artist's original label verso with the title and his address, pencil and watercolour, 19.5cm by 27cm Born in Leeds the son of WJ Neatby, studied art at the Royal College of Art under Pite, Lethaby and Gerald Edward Moira, receiving his diploma in 1910. He also studied at the Slade School under Tonks, Steer and Russell. Elected a member of the RMS in 1913.
