Hide Nasu was born in 1950 in Japan and studied art history and aesthetics in Tokyo from 1971 to 1975. In 1977 he moved to Germany, where a study of painting in Stuttgart and Frankfurt followed. In his work Hide Nasu combines the esthetics of traditional materials and meditative approaches with the abstract language of western modern art.

Werknr. 01/17a, signiert, ansprechend gerahmt Zum Künstler: 1949 kam Wolff Mirus nach Westdeutschland und besuchte Schulen in Heidelberg und Darmstadt. 1954 trifft er das erste Mal Otto Ritschl. 1959 zieht er zur Mutter nach Wiesbaden und es entwickelt sich eine enge Freundschaft zu Ritschl, der zugleich sein maßgeblicher künstlerischer Lehrer wird. Es folgt der Besuch der Wiesbadener Werkkunstschule. Ab 1968 kann er seine Arbeiten bei zahlreichen Gruppen- und Einzelausstellungen zeigen. Künstlerisch entstehen Werke, die durch das ganze Schaffen hindurch die Farbe und deren Wirkkraft ergründen und bearbeiten. Das zentrale Thema ist immer die Farbe und deren Kombinationsmöglichkeiten“

Left is located centrally on a light gray background a silver-gray bar form. On the right is a silver-gray circular shape on a black background. The significant reduction of forms is contrasted by the differentiated, sensitive color scheme of the grounds.
