Garry Nash has been working with hot glass since 1978 and is one of the pioneers of the studio glass movement in New Zealand. He joined Sunbeam Glassworks in Auckland 1981 as a full-time glass artist and acquired ownership of Sunbeam seven years later. Today he continues to operate the studio as Nash Glass, pursuing his own personal exploration of the glass medium. His work is in many private and public collections including the Smithsonian.
