Tracy Nakayama (American, b. 1974) Contemporary American artist Tracy Nakayama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is best known for her ink drawings of erotica imagery, focusing on sexual innocence and exploration often with a feminist aesthetic. Nakayama’s work has been exhibited widely throughout the United States, Europe and Japan. Two of her works are part of the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection.
