This swank early-summer international festival, being held in Munich's Maximillianplatz under the auspices of Prince Ludwig of Bayern, appears to have been equal parts floral extravaganza and steppin'-out to-do. With a portion of the profits going to the Red Cross (as indicated with the subtle inclusion of their symbolic calling card at left) and the clear pressence of minstrel-style entertainment, this summerfest must have been an excellent opportunity to kick off the fine weather season in high style.
