Janina Muniak Art for Sale and Sold Prices

anina Muniak (born in 1935 in Warsaw). Polish painter, illustrator, graphist. In 1959 she graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw. She exhibited for the first time in 1961 at the Zacheta Gallery in Warsaw. Then the artist began to work as a graphist and illustrator, realizing among others, illustrations for children’s books. She continued to practice in this field after arriving in Paris in 1963.

She also worked with several graphic design agencies and magazines (she worked for many years with Art Press, she also created the projects of packaging, textile and Graphic charters for companies like SNCF.) It was not until the early 1990s that she resumed her work as an artist. Since 1994 – when she received a prize in the “pastel” category at the Salon d’Automne des Beaux Arts in the Chapelle Saint-Jean – the artist regularly presents her works at the individual and collective exhibitions.
