He studied at the Academy of Arts in Prague under Josef Svoboda from 1965 to 1967, and at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Ontario, from 1977 to 1978. MrNavy showed his paintings in both solo and group exhibitions in Toronto, and completed several commissions, including one for The Marriott Hotel at the Toronto Airport. MrNavy passed away in 1999 in Toronto, Ontario.
